Hi, my name is Alex Raphael-Lee and I am a part-time research assistant at my home university and a full-time lover of Thai drama series/lakorns. My favorite Thai TV personalities are Jennie Panham (pictured below) and Tay Tawan Vihokratana. This blog is a space for me to study, analyse, and write about my favorite Thai shows through the lens of feminist, queer, and critical theory. I am, admittedly, not (yet!) fluent in Thai, but I hope to one day be able to watch through a complete series without the need for any subtitles.
